N95 RespiratorsRespirators may be utilized to protect employees from air contaminant exposure. Even with fresh air systems, employees are still at risk of being exposed to chemical fumes or harmful dust particles. On the other hand, you cannot rely solely on respirators to provide completely fresh air. The best method for protecting your employees is using respirators in conjunction with other fresh air systems.
There are three different types of respirator filters to choose from. The N95 respirator filter provides a 95 percent filter efficiency level. This filter is not oil resistant, but it is highly effective against particulate aerosols that are free of oil. The N99/R95 particulate filter is oil resistant. It provides a 99 percent filter efficiency level against oil free aerosols and a 95 percent filter efficiency level against all particulate aerosols, with or without oil. The P100 respirator filter is oil proof. It provides a 99.97 percent filter efficiency level against all particulate aerosols.
Here at All Safety Products, Inc., we carry an extensive selection of respirator filters, as well as valves and cartridges. The type of filter you select will depend on how much filter leakage is acceptable in your particular environment. If you are specifically looking for N95 respirators, we have plenty of choices available.
Some options of N95 respirators include the Active Carbon Respirator, the Particulate Respirator, and the North CFR-1 Respirator. For Organic Vapor protection, you can choose from the Basic Multi-Use Halfmask Respirator, the Opti-Fit Multi-Use Fullface Respirator, or the Professional Multi-Use Fullface Respirator. These respirators are highly resistant to fog and scratching. All of our N95 respirators are also approved by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).
