Chemical Resistant PVA and PVC Gloves
Where chemical hazards or immersion in liquids is a concern, chemical protective clothing, including chemical resistant gloves, are available in various compounds in supported or unsupported styles. Chemical Resistant PVC Gloves & Chemical Resistant PVA Gloves
Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) provides protection against many acids, caustics, bases and alcohols. Chemical resistant PVC gloves offer generally good abrasion resistance but are susceptible to cuts.
Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) is highly resistant to aliphatics, aromatics, chlorinated solvents, esters and most ketones. PVA gloves also resist snags, punctures, abrasions and cuts, but quickly break down when exposed to water and light alcohols.
